Thanks Guys! Steiner, the MG42 is an Echigoya, or Ultima. I think they are the same , but I got it second hand from a buddy of mine, and it still works perfectly, but as you can tell I am missing the charging handle, and the top cover latch. And Boshman I had no idea the heer equipped them later on in the war. Hehe, and im apart of the 17th Luftwaffe Field division reenactors group, and they do late war impressions, so I guess I just saved my self some $ by not buying an early war setup

You might want to tuck the butt under your arm. Fire it like that and you are in for a world of hurt.

Cheers mate, I need to paint my FJ lid for tropical/desert and use the cover for when doing ETO or temperate games. I could do with a bandoleer too, would have got one at the W&P but Anthony only has splinter one with him and I really want a Tan, blue or green one.

My south staff's kit ready for Husky (will replace boots and trousers for correct ones when has moneys) feel much better in it than being a yank the webbing is far superior.

I bought the helmet from Warren at S&S he fits them with a black chin strap its not the same as the real one but it looks the part and you could always replace it with a canvas one from SOF, unfortunatly the helmet came with some rubber melted to the helmet where they had been stacked for 50 years so i scratched it off painted the helmet than added the net and scrim, i have been basing my kit on some pictures I took in holland at the Hartenstein museum.
I also have a Devonshire Cap badge for the 6th airborne and a commando cap comforter for an SAS loadout and im picking up a gas mask bag from Webby at Husky to finish the webbing off and a No2 commando badge from Yith for a commando loadout.
Looks good, it might look better having 1 mag bag and having an ammo bag attached it looks a bit odd with 2 but then thats up to you, and heres a tip put the mag bag straps under your webbing belt that way it does'nt flop around all over the place when your running and avoids a smack in the groin 
Oh and il point it out cas someone esle will, US flag patches were very, very rare among the 101st on D-Day (so im told)

A couple of really nitpicking (AND FOR ANY NEWBIES READING, THIS IS NOT SOMETHING A BEGINNER NEEDS TO BE WORRIED ABOUT - GREEN OVERALLS ARE FINE IF YOU WANT TO PLAY AT A CIA GAME):
As has been mentioned elsewhere, the arm pocket for 101st is not regularly seen. Same, I believe, with the US flag patch - which to be honest is a big red, white and blue target anyway! (Where did you get the jumpsuit?)
Your trousers look quite tight, they should be nice and baggy. Or maybe you have really muscly legs.
*If you have a Colt .45 mag pouch* it should be on the press stud at the front of your belt.
Your water bottle might be a complete PITA to use around the back there. I've still not found a comfortable and practical place to put mine in 5 years though!

Absolutely perfect for Husky (Well, 101st isn't, strictly speaking) but you look great, just wear it all weekend and get nice and dirty and NEVER wash it. Or the jumpsuit..........badum tish!
